Mysterious ways

This must have been meant to be. We have talked about it many times, how exciting and joyful it would to meet for real. But as often is the case it is a matter of money.

And then strange things happens, like Wycliffe get an invitation - all costs payed for - to: "Minigolf World Championships, 19th–22nd August 2015 in Lahti / Finland"!(Link) And since he switched planes in Stockholm us meeting was a done deal.

Wycliffe also made headlines in the newspaper.

Sunday he landed on Arlanda airport to chance plane to Qatar and then to Kenya. For about 50 minutes we could, in much joy, get the chance to talk and hug each other. Due to our frequent contact we have become very good friends. This was obvious when we met, it was like we had known each other always. It was both joy and a blessing to meet him for real, to meet the person behind the genuineness and sincerity I've always felt with him. The destiny of 69 orphans more or less relies upon him. Therefore I am very proud over Agaptivity contributing. Therefore I am both proud and grateful for the people who have chosen to donate to this working. You who contribute and the orphans are the true hero's here!

"We have been a discharge from hospital and the total bill is 7455Kshs. (74 dollars) When we sleep with the kids here again bill will go up.Medication has also been subscribed for us to go and buy at the pharmacy counter still we dont know how much it will costs for the 3.  

I will be off in this computer cyber cafe to inquire how much this medication will cost....we have been told to treat water and cook nice food for the kids.They have lost weight as another worry at the center food which we will cook..."

Money sent, gone the same day.... Medication and hospital costs.

The money gone the same day. OK, there were only 58 dollar to send and all went to medicine expenses and hospital costs. Thus - they will still have to be hungry..... (Wycliffes words down below)

The sent that we received to day all went to buying of medication and laboratory payments.Thank you so much for standing with us.God bless you.I am not sure how much the bill will be and i will share with you about this on Wednesday by 11am.

Critical condition for one of the hospitalized orphans with cholera

Just got info that one of the three hospitalized orphans were sent into to lab for investigation due to critical condition. Lets hope and pray that all the kids will be OK. Also join in helping, aiding, to prevent these things, such as cholera and, of course, starvation. You can do just that, help and make the difference.

Lack of food, and cholera..... Money needed.

Hello everybody!

Agaptivity is really fighting to aid them i Kisumu but without means it is hard. All money we recieve becomes hand-to-mouth (transferred asap, no delay) and there is always gaps in between - thus lack of food. Apart from food sanitary items are important. Also water, access to clean water in order to avoid diseases as cholera. It seems like a few of the orphans have got cholera, they are very sick and are vomiting. Taking them to the hospital costs money.

That cost is high for them, but that cost is not much for us and if were to be more contributing aiding would not have an effect on our very comfortable lives.

Maybe one day we will face challenges like these. Can we then allow us to expect help, demanding it or hoping for it, if we haven been to others as we wish other to act against us?

What if we were 30 members and each of us were to donate 20 dollars, that would mean that the food and sanitary items would be taken care of. There are those who contribute/donate more why others could donate less. More or less - it is a fact that you can make a difference.

"AS I WRITE TO YOU UNCLE,WE HERE FINISHED ALL THAT WE HAD YESTERNIGHT AND IT WAS LITTLE AND 12 ORPHANS MISSED FOOD. TODAY AND EVEN 57 SEVEN WHOM GOT IT WAS MUCH LITTLE THAN WASN'T FILLED THEIR STOMACHS. 

NOW WHAT WORRIES ME IS NOT JUST FOOD THAT WE DON'T HAVE  FROM THIS MORNING,LUNCH AND AT NIGHT AND THE DAYS AFTER AND WHERE WE SHALL GET. BUT WAKING UP UP FINDING 4 ORPHANS VERY SICK,VOMITING AND SO WEEK THAT THEY CANNOT WALK.... AND THESE ARE SYMPTOMS OF CHOLERA. 

I NEED A HELP FROM YOU URGENT SO THAT I TAKE THESE 4 KIDS TO HOSPITAL,GET SOME MONEY TO TREAT THE WATER-BUYING CHLORINE AND ALSO FOOD FOR THE ORPHANS. 

IMAGINE UNCLE THAT WE HAVE BEEN FEEDING 69 ORPHANS AND THIS IS AMAZING AND MIRACLE AND WE HAVE DONE THIS WITH LESS AND MORE THAT GOD BRINGS ON OUR DOOR.WAITING TO HEAR FROM YOU ASAP, PRAY FOR US UNCLE AND PLEASE THE SITUATION IS WORRYING.SHALOM!"
